The World Bank sought to amplify the reach and impact of its AI Governance report through a highly visual animation video, along with a postcard and one-pager infographic. The goal was to circulate the visual media through World Bank’s digital and offline channels, making the report’s insights on AI governance more accessible and engaging to a global audience, including policymakers and stakeholders in the tech industry.

Approach

Big Blue developed the project through a collaborative process that started with scripting and storyboarding, focusing on what is the best way to convey the report’s key messages visually. The team selected an animation style that complemented the serious tone of the subject while remaining engaging. High-quality illustrations and infographics were created to highlight and summarise the main points of the written report.

Results

The animation and visual materials were well-received as the video and infographics made complex concepts in AI governance understandable and visually engaging among the World Bank’s stakeholders, broadening the report’s larger impact.
