Big Blue produced an animation video that illustrated the integration of governmental social protection systems with humanitarian cash transfers during crises, enhancing understanding and advocacy.
Story
The PeReHID Initiative needed a way to visually communicate how existing government systems can be leveraged in crisis situations to deliver humanitarian aid efficiently. The aim was to reach stakeholders and policymakers with a compelling narrative that brought out the utility of such integration.
Approach
Big Blue initiated the project with extensive research to get the idea behind the complexities of social protection and humanitarian aid. The team then developed a detailed script and storyboard, choosing a visual style that would clearly and engagingly present the information. The animation process combined dynamic graphics, visual assets, with clear narratives to explain complex systems simply.
Results
The final animation was highly effective, with stakeholders and became a key tool in advocacy and educational efforts, helping to promote a more integrated approach to crisis management and social protection.
