Story
The African Economic Conference in 2023 was jointly organised by the African Development Bank (AfDB), the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). This edition of the conference was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from November 16-18, 2023. This year’s theme was “Imperatives for Sustainable Industrial Development in Africa”.
Approach
Big Blue was responsible for sourcing all the necessary footage, including stock footage of local African businesses, agriculture, industrialisation, technology, and more. The AEC team had specific guidelines for the opening video, including its duration, format, music, voice-over, and overall tone.
Results
The talented team of designers, animators, and motion graphics experts at Big Blue worked tirelessly to create the opening video for this year’s AEC conference according to the provided specifications. Despite the short deadline, they persevered and successfully delivered the video in time for the event.
