Big Blue conducted several episodes of a podcast focused on Digital Pioneers within GIZ’s network to celebrate the innovators shaping the digital landscape.
Story
GIZ’s Germany campus comprises over 50,000 staff members, partners and volunteers. In order to facilitate crucial upskilling of staff in new digital technologies such as video calls, shared online editing of documents, team-based communications platforms and blockchain technologies, GIZ appointed several of its team members as Digital Pioneers. These individuals were charged with training small groups of GIZ staff in innovative ways on how to adapt to these new emerging technologies.
Approach
We meticulously created a schedule for a series of podcast episodes, each a different journey with different interviewees. We then produced a comprehensive 1-pager explaining how to set up podcasts for optimal quality recording to each interviewee. After editing and quality-assuring the podcasts, we shared them through GIZ’s intranet, each episode highlighting the importance of storytelling.
Results
Each podcast episode was well received through GIZ’s intranet, each one polished and quality assured with authenticity.
