Communicating vocational skills training and employability in the Global South

Animation and newsletter for UK-based Palladium's Skills for Prosperity (S4P) programme

Partner: Palladium (UK)

Big result

We supported UK-based Palladium with the creation of an animated video and a newsletter to raise awareness of the S4P project. It was a holistic vocational skills and employability programme which aimed to make it easier for young unemployed people in the Global South to achieve important vocational skills training qualifications and receive opportunities to study at college then join the job market.

Story

Skills for Prosperity (S4P) supports education and skills development across Brazil, Egypt, Kenya, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, South Africa and the Philippines.

Approach

Big Blue collaborated with Palladium to produce a rich animation to highlight the S4P programme, and develop a newsletter to help circulate the video.

We developed an original script, digital artwork, and the animation.

Results

The S4P project came to a close in end-2023. One of its last successes was to commission research to test its own lessons, experiences and wider assumptions about effective program design with a view to continuing the project’s mission.
