Story
In Bangladesh, Porticus Foundation supports approximately 35 partners, among them some are considered strategic partners. To strengthen the digital capacity of its partners Porticus Foundation has decided to launch a one-year pilot program called “Elevate”.
The program, supported and developed by Big Blue, is designed to assist four of Porticus Foundation’s strategic partners in enhancing their digital communications and advocacy efforts.
Approach
To understand the needs of each of the partners, Big Blue conducted interviews and sent out needs analysis surveys for each partner team to fill out. Based on the results of the survey and interviews we carefully developed recommendations and came up with a work plan for each partner team for a period of one year.
We will be conducting capacity-building sessions with each partner team, which will be a combination of both physical and virtual meet-ups. Since each partner team has unique needs, we are dedicated to providing training tailored to meet those specific needs.
Results
In the long term, this program will help the participating partner teams to improve their strategic planning and delivery of high-impact communications and will also establish a basis for future strengthening initiatives.
