Employment type

  • Full-time
  • Initial 2-year contract to be extended based on performance (3-month review period)

Responsibilities

Business development, analysis, research

  • Scope and present opportunities to the team daily
  • Ensure team is aware of opportunities as early as possible
  • Ensure regular, increasing opportunity pipeline
  • Attend funder meetings to discuss opportunities
  • Create relationships with potential funders

Bids and proposals

  • Analyse project terms of reference in extremely fine detail
  • Produce and deliver highest-quality proposals
  • Coordinate proposal submission processes
  • Coordinate proposal content with teammates and partner organisations 
  • Be absolutely committed to production of highest-quality, well-researched, on-brand proposals
  • Ensure highest standards of language, content, tone, clarity, grammar and formatting
  • Research best industry insights into opportunities, pricing, and offerings
  • Write business cases, competitor analyses, executive summaries, and market research summaries
  • Ensure that proposal content and language is structured to align with client priorities

Continuous improvement

  • Maintain proposal tracking system
  • Maintain an extremely well-ordered proposal document system, including document templates, slide templates, profiles, bios, CVs, capability statements, knowledge products, project case studies, and folder system
  • Gather feedback on successful and unsuccessful proposals, and ensure lesson learning, analysis, feedback, and future recommendations within our team

Requirements/Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to 1) scope opportunities 2) win projects
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience with digital agency or marketing team desired
  • Experience in the positive impact space a plus
  • Strong desire to work with a growing digital team and help us create a culture that will make an impact on the worl
  • Extremely high demonstrated English communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Always kind, accommodating, and helpful to teammates and clients
