Business Development Coordinator

Role
Supported by our international team (Dhaka, Kuala Lumpur, London), this role will help us to win new projects in the fields of digital strategy, user-centred design, online learning, and digital storytelling.
The role will develop relationships and revenue. This role is ideal for a business developer with several years of experience in creating financial success for digital or creative teams.

Employment type
- Full-time
- Initial 2-year contract to be extended based on performance (3-month review period)
Responsibilities
- Win contracts with NGOs, trusts, foundations, universities, research organisations, and donor agencies
- Lead expressions of interest, proposals, pitch meetings, negotiations, and client communication
- Advise Big Blue directors in business development strategy
- Lead specific client accounts
- Develop our voice, marketing propositions, and sales pitches
- Provide reports on sales activities
- Manage project pipeline
- Convert existing contracts into larger, longer-term contracts
- Act as champion for Big Blue, and promote our culture
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a business development role
- Ability to win business among organisations in the positive impact space
- Outstanding prospecting skills, including emails, phone discussions, and face-to-face discussions
- Outstanding diplomacy, influencing, people management, and empathic communication skills, with ability to diplomatically resolve issues and conflicts
- University degree related to business management, international development, or marketing/ communications
- Evidence of successful achievement of annual sales targets
