Story
The High Volume Transport (HVT) programme aims to make transport safer, greener, more affordable, accessible and inclusive in low-income countries. It supports vital transport research that reduces poverty and develops economies.
Big Blue came into a partnership with the HVT programme in 2019 to create their website with a research repository and programme overview animation.
Approach
Along with the development of the website, Big Blue also developed content for the website and uploaded various research items onto the site. Guidelines were developed on how to create blog posts and news items for the website. The developed research repository hosts over 600 publications, including reports on transport research published by HVT and funded by FCDO in the past 60+ years. A customised search engine for the site was also added to easily search for reports.
Finally, an animation was also produced which provides an overview of the HVT programme. This animation is embedded on the homepage of the website and acts as an introduction to the programme for non-technical audiences.
Results
We currently manage and maintain the site and send monthly reports to the HVT team with performance analytics and improvement suggestions.
